Born out of a shared vision to support therapists in their professional journeys, TherapAide is a comprehensive marketplace created by therapists, for therapists. Our Mission
At TherapAide, our mission is to empower therapists by providing a centralized platform where they can access specialized tools, resources, and expert consultations, while allowing specialists to market their expertise. We believe that by facilitating the sharing of expertise and resources, we can help therapists elevate their practice and, ultimately, improve client care.
Our Story
TherapAide was founded by a psychologist, Dr. Ashlee Reid, Ph.D., after completing her postdoctoral fellowship where she worked within comprehensive interdisciplinary teams to provide client care. While gaining specialization in perinatal and early childhood mental health at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, she recognized a significant gap in the availability of specialized resources and consultation opportunities for therapists.
Despite the wealth of knowledge and skills within the therapeutic community, many professionals work in isolation, spending valuable time creating their own materials or struggling to locate specialists for consultation services and support. Dr. Reid envisioned a platform where therapists could come together to share their expertise and support each other, leading to the creation of TherapAide.
TherapAide is designed to bridge this gap, offering a centralized marketplace where therapists can access high-quality, specialized resources developed by experts in their fields.
